I have a simple question.....when I right click on a pic I want to save, or copy, it saves it always as a Bitmap, and then I have to convert it to Jpeg.....how can I make it save to a JPEG ? Is there a setting that I can't find ?
    Any help would be cool.....

If you right click and do a save as: - you can select the directory you want to save it in - and also if it was uploaded as a Jpg file - it should default for you to save as a JPG file....

If it is a BMP file - it will default to a BMP file...

    Hope that helps,
    Rich

Internet Explorer will generally let you save images in a number of formats. I have read that there is a strange and known bug with it, though, that if your Temporary Internet Files (your "cache") get filled up, it can affect the ability to save in any other format other than bitmap. Suggest clearing it out as mentioned above.

Microsoft Paint in Windows XP will let you open bitmaps and then convert them to whatever you like (commonly, JPEGs).

Thanks Guys....clearing the temporary internet files did the trick...!!
I know how to convert them, it was just a pain in the butt, and when you right click and the window asking you where you want to save the pic to, only gave me the option of saving it as a bitmap , but now it saves it as a JPEG...

    You guys a legends !!
