hope it's not a repost... http://www.lamborghinioc.com/inventory/productdetails.asp?category1=new&recordid=106
First time I've seen it, don't worry even if it is a repost. So is it 100% that this version will not go into production? If that's the case, than I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the money. Can't pass up a beautiful Lambo like that especially if it's one of a kind.
I thought somebody had previously said that a guy literally wrote a cheque for this car and drove off in it from Pebble Beach. Perhaps not, or now back on the market?
Would like to hear the details on this. Interesting to see this is being offered by a reputable dealer. Note that they are showing two iterations of the car - the first, with the windows extending high (the version I prefer), and the second, where the windows were lowered.
The car WAS purchased at Pebble Beach THROUGH LOC the last day of the show. My info shows the price paid at the time was $500K. The CAR was sent back to Italy to have it completed and meet USA DOT and EPA requirments. Now comes the strange thing......I had it on good source that upon being removed from the AIR FRIEGHT plane in Italy, the car recieved some major body damage. The body panels were replaced, painted, upgrades completed and ready for return delivery to the owner in the USA. Due to the delay and the damage the owner does not want the car, thus for sale. My understanding as of yesterday, is that the vehicle is STILL at the factory, the owner attempting to sell prior to shipping. It is apperently for sale to be delivered ANYWHERE in the World. It is being brokered by LOC. I DO not know who the orginal buyer is.
