Concorso Ferrari 2008 in Old Pasadena is a free event to the public and sponsored primarily by the Ferrari Club of America- Southwest Region and the Auto Gallery. Additional sponsors include Putnam Leasing, Le bijou Jewelers, and Ultimate Toys. This event has also been made possible through the support of the City of Pasadena, Old Pasadena Management, and Pasadena Conventions & Visitors Bureau.
Just to clarify, althought attending the event is free to the public, in order to show your car for judging, you must be a member of FCA and register your car for the show through FCA.
Stickyone, you can go to southwestern chapter of Ferrari club of America. There is a registration form for entry and details of the event. Only 1990 and older models will be judged. However more recent ferrari will be on display as well albiet the space is limited. It sure is going to be a great event and the place is perfect for a good family outing. Some very good restaurants and cafes on and around Colorado Blvd will make for a perfect coffee and lunch place. A large turn out is expected. I am sure you will enjoy if you show up. Adil.
Correction. You dont have to be a member of FCA but must register on their form before you can be entered. Adil.
Just a reminder so people are not confused, there is also the LA Concours at the Pasadena Rose Bowl on June 1, 2008. Also a juried show, but will be for all models. Check it out: www. LAConcours.com.
What time will you guys stop there? I can't wait. I'll be there taking pictures (as always), hope it will be an awesome turnout!
Not sure it will be possible. The event is from 10-3. If the group leaves L.V. around 9, it would be about a 1:00 arrival and I don't know if there would be parking available. I'm willing to and probably will leave earlier, I just need to know if there will be parking.
Can't believe I'm going to miss this!! Why did my brother have to get married that weekend? I should have him reschedule...
My photoshoot has been pushed back a week, so I hope to make it down the stairs and out my front door.
The FCA rep at Cars and Coffee today mentioned that there are still plenty of spots open to anyone wanting to show their cars. Looks like this might be a great new event on the calendar with a truly appreciative crowd and a beautiful setting. Get in touch with them ASAP if you are interested.
There will be about 120 cars being entered, but there will be exotics all over the place for attendence should be quite large.
I know plenty of classics will be there but does anyone know if any of the supercars (F40,F50, Enzo, 288) will be there as well.
Tip: a decent place to park is at the Parson's public lot on Union Street (one block north of Colorado Blvd.), two blocks west of Fair Oaks Avenue. Not as many people know about it. It's a pre-pay lot, so be sure to pay at the kiosk before trying to exit!
