Concorso / Pebble Beach roll call

Couple years ago we had a nice drive down there organized by F o SF. They won't be doing that this year unfortunately.

 

The wife and I are headed down on Thursday, the... um... 12th. Am curious what events everyone's planning on doing, etc...

 

I have no details on anything yet - but I did go to last year's Baja Cantina meet, and it was really fun. If it's Thursday night, we'd definitely do it again!

I am going. Thursday's at Baja Cantina is just a loose group of randoms (not FChatters). I have been going there on the Thursday since I moved here. Friends of mine here have been going there for the last 17 years on Thursday.

7pm is usually when I get there but it is pretty packed by then.

An FChat gathering on Thursday would be awesome.

 

If you get there at 7pm, you'll be parking a long long way away.

4 or 5pm would be tops to get any kind of parking close by.

 

Last year, they had a good chunk of the parking blocked off for us. Bill, I think you arranged all of that for us... Looks like we arrived around 5:45PM (according to my digital camera photos' dates/times). And yes, there were already a good amount of cars there by then. I think we got one of the last of the "reserved" parking spots.

 

Perhaps. But usually I get there at 6:30-7 and they wave me back to the back parking lot (near the other exotics) where there are always a few spots open. I may be just getting lucky but I am usually with a group of 4 other cars and they have always done this.


Actually, I think I was one of the original posters on the FChat meet last year but I didn't arrange the parking. Someone on here did though who knew the owner or something.

 

We'll be around (Wed-->Sat) and look forward to connecting with folks...

 

If I can hitch a ride to the dinner I will give you a ticket for the Motorsports Reunion. I don't wanna drive my crappy pickup and have it mixed in with beatiful cars.

I will be In Monterey hopefully from the 6th to the 16th. I say hopefully because if something comes up I will have to wait until the 8th to go down in the afternoon.

Saturday/Sunday - Pre-Reunion MRLS
Monday - Open for running around Monterey Carmel
Tuesday - Open for running around Monterey Carmel
Tuesday Evening - Possibly Automobilia Monterey
Wednesday - MRLS getting everyone located in their paddock spaces
Wednesday Evening - Automobilia Monterey - If i didn't go Tuesday
Thursday - MRLS getting everyone located in their paddock spaces
Thursday Afternoon - MRLS Marque Photoshoot and maybe the Rolex Dinner - I say maybe because the food at Baja will be better than what we get served.
Thursday Evening - Baja Cantina
Friday - Concorso
Friday Evening - Dinner with Friends
Saturday/Sunday - MRLS
Monday - Ferrari Track Event at MRLS

 

Hey Todd, I think I can fit you and rob in my 308

 

Since it's a 100 years of Alfa Romeo this year, we'll be rolling in our old dailies. Just visited the museum in the old country and lots of models were missing in preparation for the festivities.

 

I'll be at Concorso in my F355 Spider. Not sure yet about other activities during the week.

Hey Stack House & Huster Bill, hope to run into you guys this year. Will try to hit the Cantina on Thursday night. Will be driving for RM on Fri & Sat. Plan to be at the Tour on Thurs, Italian Concours Fri, Historics on Sat, and Pebble on Sun. Heading back home late Monday out of SF.
