Nice pics! I was there and loved the show and the weather. Stayed in Carmel. What a wknd starting with thursday!
Dear Lamborghinisti, Hey Gday....is that you next to the red VT Roadster? Shamile Freeze....Miami Vice !
No. Right color but thats a 97 roadster, no wing with its original owner Bob - nice guy. Then again most guys with D Roadsters are ;-) The pic of him sitting like that looks really odd yet what you don't see is that he is being interviewed by a camera crew... (you can see the camera crew in one of the other pics) -mick
Correct, I bought it from Busta...had it for a bit an d then I sold it to Steve a few years ago. The Busta head rest logos on the seats have since been removed.
I saw it over here on Long Island, when he had it with Will Castro "Unique Whips" who actually did the work. I hated the Flip Mode Squad customization all over the interior of the Car i.e. Seats floor mats. A bit too guddy for my taste. Glad it is in good hands now and Steve has brought it to back to it's current standards. I remember it was sold to a young guy in Florida, who had some misfortune; after it was on consignment by Buster at a high end dealership here on LI.
Yes, when I had it my son took it out to get some minor exhaust work done to it. Unfortunately on his return the car "got away" from him. At the time it was ONLY RWD, the front drive shaft had been removed by the previous owner. (not sure what it is today). He hit a tree head on at about 45 plus MPH, deploying the air bags and causing significant damage to the car, body and frame and wheels. I think there are pictures on "wrecked exotics"...anyways, I elected not to have the car repaired. I sold the car to Steve, who repaired the car. The front clip came off of another Pearl Orange car I had...as you may recall the Orange GT that was built by SP Engineering in South California...GREAT FRICKN car..those guys do GREAT work..so the 6.0 clip that was on that car from ALEX...I had so I sold it to Steve as well to replace some damaged parts on the wrecked Busta Rymes car. The title to the Busta Ryhmes car shows CLEAR, no CarFax history, no blemishes what so ever..because it was paid for out of pocket with no insurance claim and there was no Police report on the car accident at the time.. JUST goes to show you that CarFax aint worth CRAP...A car can HAVE significant damage body, frame etc etc, get repaired on the low down at a shop..and no one would ever know..double triple check your purchase guys...
As pointed out to me AND want to make this very clear.. This is not a BASH on Steve's car..he spent a lot of time putting it back the right way with all OEM parts and paint and hard work..the car is probably better now then when it left the factory... ALSO I choose not to keep it, at the time I could not afford to keep the car in inventory while it was being repaired..I sold it,. collected my money and moved on to purchase a car that I could sell and make money on...not a car I had to hold while being re-paired and keeping my money un-useable for months on end. THIS is a example of how CARFAX is CRAP...I always get in arguments about people wanting a CARFAX..great, fine, here it is...but when it comes to cars like this, it dont mean CRAP. For Alex and SP, yes, I think the work they did on the Clone DIABLO GT was fantastic and they did a wonderful job. I enjoyed the car while I had it and it has since move onto a very happy owner of it in Sacremento California.
