Has anyone dealt or had any experience with them before. I've heard good thing from a fellow but that's about it. Thanks. Mike
Joe is a good man and has serviced my 360. I was actually refered to Concours by Eugenio since it was impossible to get our schedules to match.
That is a great testamonial right there. Look at my technical posts, I know a few things. When I have questions I call Joe at concourse auto or Dave at scuderia ramparte
You should take it to the Auto Galleria. I heard they have a coupon. There's another thread about their Shenanigans.
Searched the California Bureau of Automotive Repair website, and there is no BAR License on file for this shop. ?
Joe did a great job on my 308qv, he did fix the oil leak coming from my cam seals that I've been having and while his at it he adjusted my valves clearance. And yesterday after the Best of France and Italy Car Shoe in Van Nuys I took my car back to him again for the differential oil seal replacement. His quality of work is satisfactory and his labor is reasonable. I will continue to go to Concours (Joe) whenever I nee his help.
Haig, I think my better experience with Joe is because I was told by one of his client who recommended Concours to me and who also own a QV said, Joe specialty are the 308s as he himself own one and he knows the car inside out. Sorry to hear you did not have the same experience.
Mike, yes he does. I also was turned over to him by E. when I need a PPI on other TRs. I purchase my TR because he had maintained it for years and the car looked great. I had two back to back services which I rather not post here that were not good. They had nothing to do with his quality of work. I really think he is a great guy but I can't say I will go back again.
Joe has worked on my 1995 F355 several times. He has always done excellent work on my Spider and I would recommend him. I was referred to him by Eugenio. He does quality work and did not keep my car any longer than necessary. A++++ Michael Palacios
I can't say that is my experience. Make sure you check around your cam seals for glue and silicon... Auto Gallery did my engine out and they spend ton of time cleaning the Silicon that Joe had put on. I am happy to hear good experiences, just can't say mine was one at Concourse and he had cared for my car since 1995. I have all the invoices of work done. Auto Gallery charged me less for an engine out than Joe did years ago to the previous owner of my TR. My clutch is being replaced today at another shop, I will have ugly details for you all tomorrow.
