    Hey guys,
Am entering my car for Concourse judging. I have a full set of 5 piece original luggage. Luggage is NOT listed on the window sticker. SHould i NOT show it with the luggage as it isn't listed on the original window sticker?
If i show it with the luggage, should the items be IN the yellow dust covers or no?
Any insight is appreciated. Show is Cavallino, thanks

Luggage was a Factory Option so never on a Dealership wndow sticker.
    It was ordered from Schedoni.

The car is being judged, so maybe a FCA Judge will chime in, but given the value, I would never leave the set on display with the car.
    Good luck!

    Have fun...

I am not a judge but I have had my car judged at Concorso Italiano by the Ferrari Club of America.

I would expect that the luggage set will only be of incidental interest to the judges and will not enter their technical assessment of the car. Having the luggage set present will do no harm but will not quantitatively bolster the car either.

As much as the judges deny it, there is a subjective element to their judging. An owner who is enthusiastic and can account for all details of their car has an effect. The luggage set can be an interesting incidental that allows you to demonstrate your knowledge and enthusiasm.

Yes, was hoping a judge would chime in. I have the original build sheet, not dealer window sticker and it doesn't list the luggage so i wasn't sure if it would hurt me to display. I hear ya on the concern with the value of the luggage and leaving it on display. I just thought it would be cool for others to see a full set as they are somewhat rare to see. Thanks. WIll see what others have to say.

My car has been entered into Cavallino for years and is the recipient of 13 platinum awards. The judges look at the car by itself and I have never had any judge ask me for the window sticker as I do have the original sticker and not the luggage. As far as the luggage is concerned, participants will display the luggage in front of the car with or without the dust covers just as part of an exhibition of the car. Just enjoy the show and view Cavallino as an opportunity to learn and improve upon the condition of your car as well as meet with other owners. Good luck!

    IAC/PFA judge here.

We do not judge luggage nor the presence (or not) of luggage. Sure looks nice though.

    Same for window sticker.

Thanks. I think i will show the car WITH the 4 pieces of luggage. I think some may get a kick out of seeing the interior/cabin pieces as they're rarely seen. It's a cool set. Just registered the car for the event a few minutes ago. Hope to meet some of you all there. Regards.

I'd display the luggage with the yellow protection bags pulled all the way down, but with the pieces of luggage still on top of it.

Gerald Rouse used to complain (well, he complained about a lot of things...) about judging late-model Ferraris. How are you supposed to judge them? Who does the best detailing job? All he did was take points off for any non-factory items such as PPF.

Well stated. And, pay no attention to those who like to ridicule concours d’elegance. It’s a noble endeavor for those who preserve or restore great cars with a dedication to extreme detail. As time goes on, the community will be thankful that a few dedicated the time and expense. Enjoy the experience. It’s a lot of fun.
