A friend of mine is entering a car in an upcoming Concourse. He does not expect to win, but wants to have fun and share his enjoyment. His car has been in at least one grand classic rallye and still wears the sticker from one from a few years ago. Anyways, he asked me whether he should remove the stickers on his door panels from the Rally. He enjoys the stickers left on the car and the conversation that they bring. I have no idea what he should do prior to the concourse. Please let me know if anyone has any thoughts?

If he enjoys them and is not a real contender to win, why remove them?

Ferrari in an event using IAC/PFA standards? If so go to the club's website for a lot of guideline information. Start here then go through all the different pages. ferrariclubofamerica.org/index.cfm/ID/75/FCAConcoursEvents

    I agree.

At worst he will get a half point deduction for them (note that I am not a concours judge, nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night... Follow my advice at your own risk.)

My first couple of concours showings were rife with rookie mistakes and stuff I should have changed or corrected, but I enjoyed them immensely. I also learned a lot from the judges that were kind enough to talk to me, sometimes at some length, about why my car scored the way it did.

So again, I say go for it. Leave the stickers in place if he enjoys them, take the deduction if he gets one, and soak up the experience.
