    Pat Moss Dies

Rally driver Pat Moss, sister of racing legend Stirling Moss and wife of 50's and 60's rally star Erik Carlsson, died on October 14 after a long illness. She was 73.

Moss used her earnings from show jumping to buy a Triumph in 1954, the start of her driving career. She won her class and finished fourth overall in the 1958 RAC Rally. She won the 1958 Ladies European Champion title while leading Healey to the manufacturer's championship, and in 1960 she won the famous Liege-Rom-Liege event overall, making her a star.

Along with her husband she also was known for authoring a book in 1965, "The Art and Technique of Driving". Moss is survived by Carlsson and her daughter, Suzy.

    Rest in Peace
