    Yesterday, as everyone seemed to be otherwise engaged on Bank Hol duties and the suggestion of a driveout by Jas wasn`t really taken up I decided to just have a short spin out myself.

    Took my son (19) who obviously appreciates cars, driving etc and we had a fun time for a while. However, after about an hour I had this strange compulsion and was drawn irrevocably to................................the Medway Tunnel!

    3 times we blasted through making as much noise asd we could on our own.

    Is there a help group for this addiction?
    Because I can`t wait to do it again, especially in a group as we did before.

    Chris,

    Just imagine I only live 10mins away and am often Blasting the Tunnels :) ... However as you I was tied up this Weekend and missed the Driveout.... :-(

    The only solution is to confront your addiction!
    You must be brave, save up the petrol money (even Bill Gates has to do that nowadays) and drive anti-clockwise all the way to the top part of the M25, and have some therapy 1st through the Homesdale j27ish, and then come off at j25 and do the Hatfield tunnel, flat in 1st, flat in 2nd almost flat in 3rd,brake hard, double de-clutch and flat in 2nd through the exit!
    Keep in the left hand lane, off the slip road at Welwyn G C, round the roundabout and back through!
    Repeat as necessary! Either until you run out of petrol or the grin starts to make your face hurt!:D

    Yes, there is a solution. You need group therapy .... try the Kent Ferrari group ;)

    By the way, I am SOOOO glad they seem to be building a tunnel with the new West Malling bypass!! :D :D :D

    They'll never get me out of there!

    I don't have any hard info on it, but looking at the digging beside the A228 it's apparent that one road is very low in level, and suggests it will go under the A228 :)

    If anyone has any hard plans on it I'd really like to know more too.

    And yes, an opening ceremony courtesy of Ferrari will be in order :D

    ......then the rest of you can try to drag me out of there :D

    Stop messing around in tunnels and get yourselves onto circuits ! Much more fun and doing what the cars were meant to do :D :D :D

    I've got a legitimate excuse at least. The Spiders were never meant as track cars :) I'm sure they were designed for tunnels though :D
