Why does everyone point out the new Kuhmo V710 DOT legal tires on my car and sugest that they are somehow a factor to being rear ended by a Porsche while I am traveling 65 mph on a 75*f dry sunny morning on a straight section of open and clear highway ? Sorry haters the Porsche screwed up big time...speeding, reckless driving and fleeing the scene of an accident..
Three things: 1.) Ronin it sounds like it's your fault yet you keep playing up you were rear-ended. 2.) All evidence points to the contrary of you being rear ended purposefully. 3.) Admit you ****ed up. Seriously, just do it. That Porsche was probably faster than your Lotus, you just don't wanna admit you decided to race and got beat and were a ***** about it.
So your first post on a Ferrari forum.. I find it funny that you would think a guy in a little plastic car traveling at 65mph on an open hwy would cruise around with one eye in the rearview mirror searching for an unsuspecting Porsche to run up his ass..... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dude is trying to get away with murder for what looks like a repair that would cost the same as a weekend in Vegas...? What a weak-sauce waste of a "Get out of jail free" card..... Karma will bite you after this one when you EFF up and hurt someone else, driving like an ass.
LOL... Comments of stupidity, pimply faced teenager get me a 1 day ban. While another member makes thinly veiled threats against the entire forum with nothing.... Gotta love your moderating style..
Pride won't allow that to happen... Pretty ironic, he warns us of getting hit by someone that doesn't stop, yet, what about getting hit by someone that won't take responsibility for their own stupidity and blames the other guy when they themselves are clearly at fault? Think of the hassle and headache the other driver has to go through now and put yourself in his shoes. Sadly, it's becoming the American way. **** the other guy, I only give a ***** about myself!!! Even if I plow into someone I didn't see while changing lanes, I'll just blame him because it must have been his fault. I mean, seriously, I'm just too good a driver to have caused an accident. Hopefully karma will give him swift kick in the ass. To me, this kind of crap is humanity and it's worst. Amazing how pissed off we get when terrorists come over here and **** with us, yet we do this kind of crap to each other everyday... LAME!!! Edit: For those of you counting, yes, this is my 4th post... Whatever that's supposed to mean?
I'm just wondering how you happen to have 2 MAJOR "accidents" in such a short period of time... Seems that they are very conveniently placed insurance fraud to me. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyamHqivwds&feature=share[/ame]
I don't know personally know most of the parties involved in this back and forth diatribe so I have no bone to pick here. However, I was just noticing that there does not appear to be any residue from another car impacting the rear left side of the Lotus. The impact would have been at the leading edge of the wing support (since it sticks out) and you would clearly see paint chips along the edge or it would have been in the corner of the body work (where you would also see some residue). All I see are scrapes from the k rail. I would think there would be some residue of paint or markings from another car impacting the Lotus hard enough to spin it out. The k rail scrapes are not comprehensive enough to have cleared away any other evidence of impact from another vehicle. My two cents (which really means nothing) ... this is a very typical situation of a excessive power, a lack of grip, the rear kicks sideways, and it's not corrected/caught in time or over corrected resulting in the accident. Everyone on this forum has experienced it at one time or another and unless you are a proficient driver it's not always easy to catch. I'm not saying that this is what happened but it would be my guess based on the photos and circumstances.
Not trolling. Just reiterating the fact that some have questioned who was "at fault" here. It just seems very odd to me that one person can have 2 very expensive accidents so closely together with very suspect circumstances both times. And yes, I did join to post this. That doesn't automatically make me the bad guy.
Another first post... Yah got me I wanted to burn to death and drown but that didn't work so I cruised around at 65mph on the hwy waiting for a Porsche to finish the job....I really suck at something finally. Please have a nice day..
Spot on. I am sure it is what a lot of people have been thinking but not saying. I know I failed to articulate it early on in post #7
I noticed that too and immediately thought the adjusters and CHP accident investigators would also see what "isn't" there.....
I am sure a Youtube video will soon surface showing the Pelican... I mean Porsche. Seriously though, Glad you are okay.
Thats a huge accusation to throw out there. The fact that you came online and registered just to make it doesn't give you a bunch of credibility. I don't this guy from a hole in the ground, his reputation precedes him.
There does seem to be some evidence of a collision with another car? but I would have expected to see rubber on the rear arches not the fronts? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
