Unfortunately, just because a Prince has wings on his uniform it does not make him a pilot. The Duke of Sussex is also the only person you will have seen on television today who is allowed to wear British army uniform and have facial hair. That is contrary to His Grandma's Regulations. If he wants to wear uniform AND have a beard he should join the Royal Navy.
Are you claiming that they are not pilots? I believe both are helicopter pilots, but maybe you have a source which says otherwise?
It is fact that William is a Sea King pilot and Harry is an Apache pilot. They both may be rated it other aircraft also.
He did a tour of afghanistan as weapon officer. I don’t think one can argue he shouldn’t wear wings on that uniform.
Runs in the family. Prince Charles was a pilot, too. We gave him a ride in the left seat of an F-111F at RAF Lakenheath in the 80s.
And Prince That's fantastic... And, of course Charles' father, Prince Phillip is quite a pilot... both fixed wing and helicopter... has over 5,000 hours in about 50 different types. He's retired...
