    Wolfgang,

Is it true that almost everybody is looking at the football in Germany when Germany has to play? My sister works for international transport and had to deal yesterday with some Germans. All the time it was: "not now, football will begin, blablabla". That guy also said that almost everybody stops a little bit earlier to have a seat in front of the TV :)

Yes, yes, yes - thats all true.
    Unbelievable and nobody thought so.
During the games, the streets & shops are totally empty - some even close their business. The highway is empty - no more traffic on the roads.
But do not go outside AFTER the game!!!!! Carneval in Rio is nothing compare to yesterday evening/night after the game.
Yesterday Berlin: 800.000 peoples in Berlin watching the game together on a big screen - monster party & all in good fun.

    Wolfgang, my friend,
One thing is for sure. Sunday someone in Santa Margherita will insist to look the final: IT WILL BE ANDREA AND I :D.
You will have been playing on Saturday (or so I hope). It will be fun anyway, and may the best (Italy) win on Tuesday.
    Ciao
    Eugenio

*LOL* for sure WE WANT TO SEE THE FINAL on sunday at U`Gianni (wrong spelling?) cause Germany vs France will play in Berlin!!!!!!

    My dear friend Eugenio,
usual I`m kind & gent enough to let you/Italia play and win the final.
BUT.... we can not watch the Saturday place 3/4 game cause we will be on the highway to Arbon!!!!! Thats why we must play on sunday evening :D!
Anyway, you/Italy did a great job and at least 3rd place isn`t so bad for Italy ;)

;) all in good fun and may the BETTER team and not the referee win!

    CU soooooooon

The game was not good but Odonkor was brilliant like everytime he plays. They should use such players more then these schweinsteigers and ballacks.

I had my camera with me at the Germany-Ecuador match.
We've watched every match at the Schloßplatz/Stuttgart so far. There's a really great atmosphere but you have to be at least there 2 hours before the match starts and I guess tomorrow you have to be there at 5 o'clock because "only" 40.000 people are allowed to watch on the 3 TV screens inside the Schloßplatz (and then they close all gates :( ). Another 30.000 have room outside but I won't go to Stuttgart tomorrow. I'll go on Sunday for the Germany-??? Final :)

    1 + 2) before the match
    3) My girlfriend and me
    4) some friends from University celebrating

    They will not :(
IMO they can beat Italia but never France!
Have you seen the France vs Brasilia game?
France played a world class soccer with Zidane. They are very fast and have always the overview.
No, Germany is too bad to win against France.
Anyway, it was a great success to reach the 1/2 finale and maybe the finale.

Naah, I really don't care about soccer. I switch the TV off if they start talking about the world cup on the news :D

But never say never :) France could have a bad day and Germany a good one :)
