It was awesome of MINI to let me appropriate thier Billboard and to arrange the news coverage. Next stop may be Good Morning America...

Could you imagine........ you're just innocently driving somewhere with your girlfriend, and someone has a huge billboard that asks for someone with the same name as your girlfriend's hand in marraige, and your girlfriend looks at you with tears in her eyes and starts telling you "yes, yes, yes!!!", and you have no idea WTF is going on....................Can you say "awkward moment"????????? LOL!!!!

There must be a filter on Mini's website that keeps people from having stuff that's 'too crazy' appear on those billboards, isn't there???

Actually, you are not allowed to change your own message - you just give them info and they create the messages, which coordinate with your RFID tag. They made me a special tag (actual one and a spare) for the proposal.

They also sent me two boxes of MINI stuff today: Hats, tote bag, lunch box, pens, sunglasses, embossed chamois, keychain and two miniture models of the proposal sign. Pretty cool those people at MINI. If I wasn't already a fan, I would be now!
