Hi Everyone, Hey - thanks for all the kind wishes! Baby Karl Beaudry Pautz arrived about two weeks early but is fit and healthy at 3.14kg. Debra did a great job - while having contractions she drove herself to the Maternity Ward, went into labour and then called me to let me know! I rushed back from London by bus, foot, train and taxi to make it with about 20-20 minutes to spare. The birth was easy, and an amazing experience! You guys know me too well...yes, I took a LOT of photos and will share some of them with you soon! The boy is like his father....he has a strong sucking instinct and he loves breasts. But he just can't put the two things together right now! It's like "Why are you shoving that thing into my mouth"? He-hee! Until both mother and baby are comfortable with the breastfeeding thing, they will stay in the maternity ward. I hope they come home today....I'm going there now to find out. THANKS again friends - I appreciate you sharing our excitement! Sincerely, MARK
