Connecticut accident - excuse to raise speed limits?

    So, a truck with previously known mechanical faults is involved in a crash with another vehicle because it was travelling too fast, couldn't stop, or due to driver error and they actually consider lowering speed limits.

    I didn't know meth was legal in Connecticut!

    I grew up in CT so I know it has issues. This could also be a good reason to keep women out of politics LOL

    Ya this whole thing is pretty ridiculous. Avon is two towns over from me and of all the 23 people that live there i haven't heard complaining from any of them. And if the truck had previous problems I dont think the accident can be blamed on the road or the speed limit.

    Exactly, CT is a toxic state for industry they have raised corporate taxes & chased out there top businesses then they whine about the evil businessmen that left CT & left the people w/o jobs. Meanwhile drug gangs have taken over all the cities.
