Lane, I was warming the Noble up and was all set to call you to try to hook up so we could drive up together and it started raining here. Looks like the rain is now headed for Essex. I guess I'll have to join the next time, darn it. If you aren't taking your car either, I could pick you up and we could roll up there in my all weather SVT Lightning? Lane, Sorry to hear about your troubles today. Glad to hear there was no damage to the car... a new set of tires is a lot better than body work and paint! I was at Starbucks this morning but never logged on to F-Chat yesterday. The New England region was a little quiet for a few weeks so I got lazy. Had I known, I would have headed out a little later. I got there around 6:45AM and was headed back to the house around 8:00AM. Let me know what the dates / times are for the next get together. I have a few things scheduled over the coming weeks, but would love to be able to squeeze a nice ride in. Joe
I did make it to the Rocky Hill Starbucks around 9, good spot to meet (good open parking). Saw a black TR drive by, was that an Fchat lurker? I'd meet there again if Lane's tires hold up
Yeh, usually there are only three or four cars in the lot (at least when I am there). I see that TR on occasion... he must be local to the area. Maybe next Sunday we can all get together if the weather holds out.

Lane, This Sunday is bad for me. I have to pick my wife up at the airport. Why don't you and I just set a date for a cruise along the route you mapped out and if anyone wants to join in they can? That way at least WE have some fun. I can even have my son tag along in one of my other cars. Anyone care to join a Noble and a Ferrari for a meet and run on the backroad twisties and shoreline in south central CT? We'll let you know the date as soon as we set it. I missed your post Lane, I was at the Starbucks in Wethersfield around 10am, met a friend with a 355 and took a ride up around the Hebron -Marlborough area, got caught in a shower in Glastonbury, Not half as bad as the deluge I hit on the way back from Tutto the prior sunday afternoon......both times I was amazed my car didnt melt, but it did throw a wiper blade off on the mass pike.. not fun
Yeah that rain leaving the Tutto did suck...I could just feel that water soaking the engine bay, trying to wiggle into the electrical connections...but at least I didn't throw a wiper Lane - a cruise is fine, forgot that was the original intent here...
