    Anyone into a weekend central Connecticut meet and greet. Something like Dairy Queen / Cromwell, Wood and Tap / Rocky Hill, Guida's / Middlefield... There's no one to play with down here on the coast.

    How about Gillette's Castle involved in the trip--some nice windy roads not too far away
    plenty of parking--I would suggest having Essex on the stop --or start for you, but we would never be able to park.

    Twisties...Are you refering to the park road through the Hopyard? Not bad.
    Essex parking is limited. Oliver's tavern / Centerbrook could be a spot. Wings, a burger, etc... If you really want downtown, I could talk to a friend at the yacht club. Perhaps we could use there overflow lot. Somehow I don't think a bunch of Ferrari's are gonna get them nervous.

    Driving is obviously neat, but I would also like to converse. I love the concept of "Sunday mornongs at Starbucks" thats done in Mass. My Ferrari was purchased to please me first and foremost, but I do feel a bit like a Yukon driver in a field of Prius's.

    I'm in. I use the 308 as the "daily driver" on the weekends around Wethersfield. Sat / Sun mornings or evenings are best for me... kids always seem to have committments later mornings /afternoons.

    I like the Starbucks on Rt 3 in Rocky Hill on Sunday mornings. I tend to go there early on Sunday morning to grab a coffee and relax for a while (no kids, no wife, no blackberry). I am usually one of the few cars in the lot... rest of the stores are closed in the early AM hours.

    So thats 10 so far...I'm not real concerned about a date as long as its a weekend and not raining. I'm happy to leave it to everyone else. I would rather not compete with Independance Day, the FCA at Limerock (7/25), or other sweet events and I'll be in Vermont re-aquiring my center July 26 thru August 3rd.

    I'd also kinda like to set this up as a repetative meeting. Maybe every other Saturday or Sunday for a coffee, a beer, or a Hot dog type of thing. It doesn't need commitment. We can generate a new thread suggesting a date or just make it a short notice thing like "I'll be at Dairy Queen tomorrow around 3:00". It's time to establish some comeradery here in CT and I can imagine a more interesting common interest than Ferrari.

    7/12 FWIW is the date of the ALMS race at Lime Rock, might be a place to meet or coordinate a drive too?? Not sure what time the races start though.
    7/13 for me personally is no good.

    I am interested in meeting also , and I can offer my lot for a meeting place, F40 Motor sports, rt 66 portland. We dont have a very big coffee pot , but there is always something interesting in the shop.
