    Any good chassis ground .. look for grounds that are attached to chassis and you can use that ..or in a pinch ..look for any screw /bolt go into the chassis and loosen that and use it

    There is a ground point on the subframe below the 3 positive terminal junction. It’s there for this reason. If has a hex head on it undo, insert the ground strap and refit the hex head bolt.

    Just a strange suggestion. I bought a plug that goes into the cigarette lighter in the center console, you know, the 12v adaptors. I fused that to an extra trickle charger plug I had lying around.* And now I can just plug into my cig lighter to trickle charge the car. Your way looks more professional.

    *Meaning cut off the alligator clips or whatever, and replaced with the cig lighter adapter.

    I just ran that cable directly to the battery terminals through the frunk opening for the battery isolator.
