    Attached are pictures of connecting rod bolts for the Boxer. The first picture is of the original connecting rod nut that was updated by Ferrari because they fail at the bottom of the notch. These are still being sold by the usual vintage Ferrari prarts sources. Do not use them, unless you you don't mind rebuiliding your motor again when they fail. The second picture is Ferrari's updated connecting rod nut. You'll see the radiused edges at the bottom of the notch. This what Ferrari sells today.

    Thanks for the pics, a set of ARP studs would probably be better still. Did you have a failure?
