    I have emailed 3 scrap yards that specialize in breaking/parting out exotics. Not much luck with any response from them. Alot of the places seem to have pics and info on totalled or badly wrecked cars. It would be a great benefit to the registry and potential buyers to add this info. It will help us know when these scammers out there steal VIN numbers and try to resell cars they don't have or unethical dealers who try to cover info up and resell a car they know was wrecked----any of you guys that may know or can send an email or make a call to help with this would be great!!!! Below are two sites over in the UK that deal with scrap exotics--anyone know these guys??
    The Euro spares place has about 5 wrecked 355's right now that I would love to have the info on to add to the registry..

    Maybe you should tell them you want to buy something major from one of the cars but you need the VINs to make sure it matches what you have. They would probably resond faster if they thought you wanted to spend a lot of money. Also calling works better when i'm looking for hard to find things at junkyards. These people spend all day pulling parts and never look at email.

    I thought about that also, but that is only going to work once or twice before they tell me to go blow a donkey...

    Email to a salvage yard is frequently a waste of time (I've tried). If you get them on the phone you have a better chance of getting a hit.

    Update--Keith at Eurospares has emailed me and said he would help get me VIN's whenever he could--They have 5 wrecked 355's right now...Thanks!!
