So, I'm about to embark on a connector repin. I'm looking for specific sizes as I'm going to do similar to my door connector repins. Right now i cant find my invoice for where i bought the pins. Anyone have sizes for the various connectors? Main ECU, TCU, MAF, TPS etc. And controversy aside...no gold kit recommendations.. just want the connector sizes. Thanks! D
I agree. Let's leave the "gold connector" BS behind. Sadly, the best resource for your project is this thread which is FULL of GCK BS... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/technical-q-sponsored-algar-ferrari/326310-stooge-tin-pin-connector-kit.html
PM Ernie to be sure, but most of the engine connectors, injectors, temp sensors, MAF... should have Junior Power Timer (JPT) contacts. Assuming you have a 2.7 ECU, the 55 pin ECU convector should have 8 JPT type and 47 Micro Timer contacts.
Both 94 348 and 95 355 have dual 55 pin ECU connectors, all JPT pins, They don't take micro power timer pins.
Confirming Mitch's post. 55 pin ECU connector has all JPT pins. Sorry about the error. The spec sheet lists two 55 pin connectors and in my haste I looked at the wrong one. http://www.onlinecomponents.com/datasheet/9636841.aspx?p=10531545 The Ferrari connector is the lower one.
Here is the DIY thread for the T55 connector. Sans the drama. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/technical-q-sponsored-algar-ferrari/444155-348-motronic-2-7-connector-harness-repin.html
