I'm coming close to finishing the refurbishment of my 355. Mechanicals are almost done, and exterior paint is too. The interior carpets and panels look great. But the driver seat bolster took a beating from previous owners. I'm looking at all options - and am wondering about full recovers. My headrests are great, so I could keep them with the fioranos in place and not need to reproduce those. But what options exist for recovering? I could pay someone to take them apart and make new templates, but are there quality covers available for a reasonable price for these cars?

These are standard seats. In tan. for a GTB.

    :)

Post a picture of the seat so we can see what we are dealing with. Maybe you can get away with a very good repair and re dye. OEM Seats are very hard to re-trim I have seen.

here is what the drivers seat looks like. no tears. but its worn. I've already used the Color Plus cleaner and softener of it as I had some left over from pervious porsche projects. I have used their black dye to color change tan to black in a 964 a couple years ago. I'm not super excited about vinyl fill and cover products, but if there would be a way to redye this to make it look "better", I might be willing to try it...
