I have an 07 Red 430 Spider. It still has 1.5yrs left on powercube, but I have put about 13k miles on it this year.

I have been looking and am considering upgrading to basically the same thing, just an 08 or 09. I figure this will help by having lower miles when it comes time to trade again before too long.

Does anyone know what current approx value would be with the market on my 07, then what I would be looking at for an 08 or 09.

I have red/black, red stitching, daytona seats, ENTIRE carbon fiber interior package. Basically, all I believe I am missing is the rear carbon diffuser and the carbon ceramic brakes.

Any info or advice would be appreciated.

That's one of the best things I've ever read on FChat :)

Good luck on your decision and possible future trade up.

Sounds like your best bet is just to continue to drive it like you already have if you are concerned about long term costs.

Trading up will cost you more by the time the dealer does their thing. There was a time when if you were "in the loop" you could be driving a new one for a bit and keep trading if the dealer would give you a new car again and again. That way you could drive and own for free pretty much. Those days are over.

What you are suggesting will cost you quite a bit of money and result in no gain whatsoever. You can certainly trade but it will only be a sideways trade which costs you money, time, effort and maybe some grief. Why bother?

Has your car been reliable? You won't know what you'll be getting by switching.

That's true. There's a lot to be said for a trouble free car. Possibly getting some kind of a lemon is a the card?

No sense of getting rid of a "de-bugged" car... Low miles just mean you will be starting all over with bug removal... More miles & I believe you will see you car running better & dependable.

All your comments make perfect sense.

My car has been perfect, not a single issue!! Only costs or repairs have been oil changes and tires!! ;) 3 sets of tires already!! ;)

I guess my biggest concern is taking a HUGE bath on price when I get over 20k. Its reasonable to expect to be at 25k by this time next year. I don't see wanting anything else except a 458 spider... I know people get really concerned and don't see the positives in buying a higher mileage Ferrari...

I'll clearly be out of warranty before I get the chance for a 458, and I sure like the comfort of warranty...

I agree with the others. Drive it and trade or sell when you're ready. Thank God someone is driving their car. If you trade now, I think you will lose a lot more than if you trade later. Selling and trading cars aren't to your advantage at the moment.

Keep it . My 2 cents.

Sales tax will be a big hit depending on your state. I think this is a bad idea. Keep your car and ignore the miles.
