    Does anybody know if there is a back light for the center console ie Blower knob heat /ac my back window light switches are lit i think there self contained lighting but the console itself is dark when lights on before i take it apart wondering if anybody knows thanks

    Remembering when I removed the center console on my 1990 Mondial t, there were several (tiny) dangling LED type light ends on wires. I had no clue as to where they went, perhaps originally glued in place by Ferrari as backlights for the things above the console. These tiny lights turn on when the headlights are on, showing (in the dark) the console switches.
    You may find these LED danglers when you take the console apart.

    These are the lit ends of a bunch of glass fibres lit by a single bulb in the centre console. They are clipped onto the bottom side of the console fascia. If none of the symbols (other than the hvac buttons, lit separately) work my guess would be that the glass fibre bulb is either disconnected or broken.
