    Consumer Warning:

Please beware that any consumer purchasing a Capristo product from an unauthorized Capristo dealer could be buying a counterfeit or non-existing item. Capristo Exhausts USA authorized distributors can be found at the below link.

    http://www.capristoexhaust.us/Articles.asp?ID=147

Only Capristo Products sold through our network of authorized dealers will carry a 3 year warranty and are guaranteed to be genuine Capristo Products. As we have experienced in the past, there are poorly copied Capristo products that have led to massive mechanical failure and fire, that are STILL being distributed throughout small branches of unauthorized dealers on the internet. Consumers, please be aware.

Anyone purchasing an exhaust from someone claiming that they are selling an original Capristo Exhaust, can and should contact us to verify it's authenticity before a transaction is made.

Whoah, scary stuff. How do you tell the difference? Can you show us pics of a supposed fake so people know what to look for? Otherwise it sounds like a ploy to kill any ebay sales and force people to only use authorized dealers.

Don’t get it, why copy Capristo and not Tubi or Kreissieg?

Thank you all for your concerns on this. First of all, we at Capristo USA are the ONLY authorized distributors of the product throughout America, with selected dealers assisting us in distribution. Certain information that appears to be on the ID plate of all Capristo products can reveal it's authenticity, however, this information is known to us only. If we were to expel this information, the persons creating these copies would simply use it in their future attempts. If you are attempting to buy a Capristo product from someone who is not an authorized dealer, we strongly advise you to please obtain a photo of the ID plate, and get in touch with us. We will gladly let you know that it is or is not a genuine Capristo product. This way, you are guaranteed you are purchasing a genuine product, and will be covered by the 3 year warranty that comes with all of our products.

Some may ask "why is Capristo being copied?" Capristo is an internationally distributed product, and with the increase in demand and popularity, these situations will arise in any product. We don't know what other exhaust manufacturers are experiencing in these issues, that is not our business. It is, however, our business to inform our customers and protect them to the best of our abilities.

As you can see, fraudulent exhausts do not always appear to be. The system in the picture below was purchased in the US on eBay, and was sent to Europe to be installed on a car by our authorized technicians. Once it arrived, they realized that the whole system was a fraud.

Currently, there are Capristo items listed on eBay which appear to be suspicious to us. We've attempted to contact the sellers, and we've receive zero cooperation as we've been trying to verify the authenticity of the product they are selling.

@F430addict - Please take a photo of the ID plate on your system and send it to us. We will verify it's authenticity for you.

Yes, you can send us a photo, and we can provide you with a TUEV certificate. Please send us an e-mail at [email protected] to get the ball rolling on this.

The same goes to any inquiries about the authenticity of Capristo systems. Please e-mail us: [email protected]

The Capristo guy had a big explanation of things earlier and then pulled it. Anyway, Capristo's have a special ID number on them and that's what they can verify if there's one in question. IMO a quick verify of serial number would be all that's necessary to confirm a purchase regardless of where you bought it from.

OOPs, I see that Mr. Capristo got banned. So based on that not sure if even the first post is legit?

I think it has to do with the rule that you can't choose a username that's the same as your company's name (unless you're a sponsor).

It's a MAJOR no-no to create a Login with business ID without stepping up as a sponsor.

It makes your voice tinny, and causes rattles........

I'll jump in here as a distributor. Capristo USA is the legitimate importer for capristo. I think he is just trying to help customers that were worried about buying true Capristo branded items.

Obviously if the deal is to good to be true you, think it over.

We are all here to help if you need anything let me know.

My guess is trying to get exposure for the brand to sell new & not to buy on ebay. I am suspicious as to if this was an actual event or just hype. My guess its hype & never occured.

Just opened the package and checked the twin sound. Looks legit to me. Won't know till it gets installed. The wireless remote controller does look different from the Capristo US website, less flashy but I've no issues as long as it works.

oops, CapristoExhaustUSA was just a new id created by current Sponsor Taurino Racing. They are the official USA distributor. We were confused because it was a new account and wasn't identified as a Sponsor, we thought there was some level of spamming. We removed the commercial stuff and left the warning. Our bad, CapristoExhaustUSA is reactivated and properly identified as a Sponsor.

So a question to Mr Capristo. How many versions of wireless remote controller modules exist for the Capristo twin sound? Mine does not look like the one in the official website. It's a white box module with an antenna and the remote is not as flashy, just some basic black plastic fob with two buttons. Comes with all the Capristo instructions though. Looks legit but who knows....

I almost bought one for $2150 on ebay from a guy in California. It was advertised as a New Capristo 360exhaust. I asked what stage and he said he didn't know. I guess that was one of the fake ones. By time I called him back he had sold both of the 360 versions.

I have his number still in my phone if you want to contact him.
