Whom should I contact at Lamborghini in order to get information about an older Lamborghini that I own, such as date of manufacture, options, etc. The person I'd like to contact should be doing the same work as Fabio Collina does at Maserati.

It really depends on how old the car is. Which model to you own?

Go on the Vintage Lamborghini Garage. More info than the factory, and Kaminski will charge for the info :)

VLG is best for 60's and 70's models.

I'll be at Lamborghini at Sant Agata late October so I'll try to talk to someone working at Lamborghini rather than someone exterior. I know these cars but would like some documentation, such as dates, colour, options. The kind of documentation Fabio Collina at Maserati can get you for 300 - 500 €

When you are here, ask Lamborghini to speak with Valentino Balboni: he has everything you need, or knows who has that. Sometimes they give you his phone number.

Just understand that current employees are not that knowledgable with the old car as with new. With that said, they do not have much is the way of info on the olders cars.
When they restore or service one of the vintage cars that is on display, they send it outside the factory. They don't do the work.
Maybe someone can confirm but most of the documents were destroyed in the factory fire in the 70's.

The new factory procedure is the following :

    1. you own the car and have a title.
    2. you go to your Lambo dealer and fill in the request to the factory
    3. you wait 2 months and you will get the statement from the factory

now if you give us the VIN concerned I can give you correct infos...
