Hey there, For a project concerning handbuilt modelcars of the AF Corse F430 (2007) I need to get in touch with Stephane Ortelli. The meetings with the other involved drivers (Bruni, Vilander and Muller) worked out great, but I can't seem to reach Ortelli. I only have access through his site, but as said, that doesn't work. Is there anybody out there that knows where to reach him or his management more directly?
How did you contact Muller? I've been trying to contact him for a while. I need to thank him for something.
Correct me if I am wrong is it the same Ortelli who races for Audi? Is he the one who had the major crash at Monza? If so, I races against him at Monaco and the owner of the team I raced with knows him.
Ortelli drives for Oreca-Courage and did have a big crash at Monza in the Le Mans Series this year - his car left the gound under braking into the first chicane, and whilst in the air he nearly decapitated Allan McNish in one of the Audis. Luckily he got off with a broken ankle. This was a true monstercrash. How did Allan experience it? I heard he saw the car flying past and immediately radio-ed something to the extend of: "were going to need medical assistance here". PS. You don´t happen to have an entrance to Oreca-Courage by any chance?
