I have been unable to figure out how to send a PM on this marvelous system. Maybe you can't.

Go to the desired user's avatar on a post or your own avatar at the top right of each page. If you click on the desired user's avatar, it will open the user's Profile pop-up with an option "Start Conversation". If you click on your own avatar at the top right of each page it will open a pop-up with the option "Conversations". Conversations is the new term for PM.

Thank you. There was no way for an " older user" user to figure that out, as usual with so much of this stuff. Thanks again.

What was harder Bob, learning to fly a bomber or sending a PM ?

I apologize if my big mouth gave the impression that I flew big bird during my time in the service. I flew in them as a lowly crew member while I was chasing openings in pilot training classes. I was too late to achieve what I was accepted to do. I got a lot of stick time in 5 different types and they were complex to operate, especially the B-24. I try very hard to keep abreast of the computer stuff but I lack the base and intuitive skills of younger people. I can chew gum and type with two fingers at the same time, though!

I honestly can't remember what you have you have flown, after reading your book and your posts I just know it's a heck of alot of planes. I just guessed a bomber was in there somewhere

Airplanes flown is something like 45. Nothing terribly big or exciting, just a lot of old stuff. Probably the newest was a Cessna C-177, one of my favorites, also the Cessna 195.

Not quite as many as the late Eric Brown, who supposedly flew 487 different types of aircraft. Did you ever meet him?
