I had a 328 that I sold some years ago and am presently looking at a very nice 348. Before I proceed further I would like the chance to speak with someone regarding their ownership experience. If you are willing to discuss, please PM me with a telephone number I can reach you at.

I am in Connecticut, so even better if there is someone local who has 348.

John: The 348 is a great car. Kinda like a go-cart in ride quality and my wife hates riding in it. The seats are small and the driving position tight. There is more room than a friend's 328 and more power and less body roll around corners. When friends come over to test blast my cars, most like the 348 the best! 360's are cheaper to service and more practicable to take on road trips and only 20k more. FWIW.

I've owned my 1990 348 for for the last four months and have enjoyed it very much. I would suspect that maintenance costs on a 348 are higher than a 328. I originally set out to get a 328 a year and a half ago and watched the car climb out of my price range. Having said that I wouldn't trade my car for a 328 because I love it. In four months some things have come up (yellow warning light 5-8) that have required some $ but I came in knowing what was to be expected. Enjoy the journey! Brian

There is a whole generation of evolution between a 328 and 348. Both are retro now, but you can upgrade your 348 to be pretty competitive with modern sports cars. Plus you have all of us for support.

I just bought a 348TS a couple months ago. I also have a 308GTS, which I've owned for many years and just love. But I think my 348 is terrific, I am so glad I bought it. It is not for long, long trip, but who drives a Ferrari on long, long trips? I can highly recommend the car....go for it!
