That looks like a good bit of work but if you are not hurting for the money then keep it. You will miss it terribly if you sell it and restoring it over time will bring you and the kids alot more memories.

I like the color, it looks great. Just finish it, and then drive it 'til you drop. You won't regret it.

Single mounting rod per bumper is typical for Euro cars. Wont have th emissions equip, extra alt bracket and I've heard better power band (cams?).

This is a very nice color, any metallic in it?

You'd be nuts to sell that car. Keep it and restore it. Use it as a stress releaver.

    GREAT color! What is it?

    Julio

P.S. Do not sell. Every car I have sold I deeply regret; it happened again a few months ago: I sold my GTE for all the right reasons, but I never should have.

Keen eye, looks like you are correct that it is an RHD . If you're going to replace mechanical and interior parts, I think most of the RHD items would be close to interchangable.

Still, if you have engine, interior and other bits to replace, it could get pricey. I don't think you could get a full interior from Re-Originals for under five figures.

for not anwering all the emails, messages etc. Was hoping to open some of the boxes and start lloking at things in detail. I neede a new motorcycle helmet so got on my bike and off to the store and bought one. Put it on, ditched the old one and started back home. A few minutes later car came out of a side turning and left me no room to manouvre. In a flash I saw this startled face in the car. Insted of accelerating out of my way, she hit the brakes and sealed my fate. I threw the bike down on its side hoping to roll away. Did pretty well but I'm on percocet now and will reply as soon as I can get it together.

Get in the garage for 1/2 hr three nights each week and 1hr on Sat, 1hr on Sun. Get the kids to help if possible. In a year you will be amazed how much you have done . Dont let her go now , finish the job. Your sense of satisfaction will be a great reward.

    OMG! Terrible!

Here's the deal, sell the BIKE .....before you are killed, continue restoration...

Use the helment for track days.........;)

I know bike and car helments are different...still...glad you survived. My family threw all my motorcycle keys away, years ago. Probably the reason I'm still here to type this.....

Please DON'T sell the car. Membership in the "I restored a Dino and lived to tell the tale" club is exclusive and ultimately worth the price of admission.

Take your time, get assistance from this group and keep your eye on the prize.

Thank you, all of you, for your support and shared enthusiasm. Having owned it for so long, I have lived through the original euphoria, the slide into the dino dark ages and the re-emergence. I shared tales of past glories around the table over a typical Italian meal with friends and family. There's just too much history, too many stories and too many experiences in every nut and bolt for me to part with it. Thanks again....

BEST DECISION YOU COULD HAVE MADE.

10 Dino vultures just heaved a heavy sigh. They thought this might be one they could grab up and fix on the cheap. :)

    I KNOW MUCH BETTER!!!

There ain't no such thing as a cheap Dino!!! (Or Dino repair, for that matter.)

However, there are still a lot of dreamers here that think it's possible, hence my post.

Hope I can find you tomorrow, I'm still 50-50 on going.

    Dave
