Hello, I noticed the valves in the exhaust backboxes on my 812SF open up slightly above 3000rpm even when cruising in wetmode, is this normal ? I was under the impression the valves will stay closed when staying at at low engine load, for instance when cruising at 70mph. Does anyone know the conditions for when the valves open/close ?
Thanks for your reply, I just took the car out again before the rain hit us again, in Wet and Sport mode the valves open up around 3k yes, but if you are a little bit agressive on the throttle they open up earlier and stay open longer until you have been driving more socially for a while. In race mode they open about 1000rpm earlier.
