One thing I've been meaning to do for years is to actually check my 328's oil pressure against an accurate gauge. I have a gauge set/fittings for that purpose and have used it on many engines but, of course, I need a fitting to access so I can temporarily connect the gauge.

Anybody know if there is a convenient fitting so I can remove an oem plug, install the gauge temporarily, and then put the plug back in? I guess I could remove the OEM sensor/install the gauge fitting there and check the pressure but I'd rather have the oem gauge operating while doing the check so I could directly compare them.

I realize that "convenient" on a 3x8 is not the same as "convenient" on a small block Chevy. :)

How about the low oil pressure warning switch? I think it's opposite of the pressure sensor if I remember right.
