    Hello everyone

Maybe the conversion gurus like @modificator etc can help me here

As most of you know I help a number of people with their 360's and 430's especially when it comes to F1 system including the E-diff etc. I have come across a few that have had their cars converted to a manual but left the e-diff functional ( solid decision imho). I needed to trace some wiring the other day to diag a issue and saw that the the f1 pump relay trigger terminals (84, 85) were wired to 9a and 12a of E-diff ecu. The factory manuals are wired to 12a and 5b ( 5b is solid ground). SO.....the question is why ? I have a few inquiries out including those I helped to give me a few mins with a multimeter etc to see if I can figure it out. All the documentation on E-diff ecu pinouts do not even speak to pin 9a. What is 9a ? - i know it provides ground to the relay but not sure why a undocumented pin ( at least from f430 Manual WSM) was chosen vs 5b

If someone has a broken ECU that can be taken apart to look at - that would also work

    Please help me help others

    Thanks
    Dominick

Hi Dominick, 9a works well for me and I have not given it a second thought, maybe there are multiple ground pins.

Thanks George -- yes ...it definitely works and works perfectly - it is just me not understanding why one pin was chosen over the factory manual one
This is only for an education ( mine mostly) .. not to fix any issue with a conversion or pin assignment during a conversion
    Thanks again

Neater wiring? Doesn't it look more professional than, say, splicing into good wires.. and possibly compromising those?
