    Totally, totally agree with you. The last two years were pointless. About Stephane Ratel's new GT1 category, except Lamborghini, does any other manufacturer started making any tests?

    There will be no GT1 by BlancpainGT
    FIA will not allow a GT1 "prototype" series.
    Politics, money, profits, car industry, advertising, sponsors

    I disagree. Of course only time will tell but if there was a probability for no GT1 series, why Lamborghini made the tests in Monza back in April?

    Ferrari 488GTE Scuderia Corsa 2016 is not a GTE anymore.
    Now a GT3 spec.
