did a search found nothing, just curious whether with so many dino's out there if anyone ever came across a chopped one into a full roadster/cabriolet/spyder/convertible? I know in the 70's that were givng these cars away so someone might have messed with it, wondering how it would look...guess structural integrity would be an issue and it is a cute car the way it came out of the factory but just curious.

The closest I know of was a 206 GT cut into a GTS, it was talked about here maybe 2 years ago and I think it was Yellow. I am sure others will chime in quickly if there was such a thing as a GT cut into a true convertible.

[very biased plug] Besides the FIAT Dino Spider of course [/end of very biased plug] :)

Why would anyone chop a 206 or 246 Ferrari Dino when there was the absolutely STUNNING Fiat Dino Spider available?

STILL ONE OF MY FAVORITE CARS OF ALL TIME, and eventually, I WILL HAVE ONE!!!

More directly, no, I never heard of one, anywhere, and because the conversion would have been very expensive, I'm pretty sure no one ever did one. After all, where the hell would you store the top? Motor is about 3 inches behind your head.
