Thanks for sharing that picture Sean!
Just a comment, but Richard Losee drove the "chopped" Enzo Saturday on our Ferrari club drive up the canyons above Park City. He had the chopped doors on it, which he does when the weather is nice. My co-pilot took some nice photos of it, which I'll post when he sends them to me. The Enzo is really cool! On the drive back down the canyon, Richard gave the rest of us a 5 minute head start, then came flying down the canyon and passed us all! He wasn't being too aggressive, just faster than the rest of us. We had the upper part of the canyon to ourselves. The really aggressive guys were the two young kids on the crotch rockets that almost ran into trouble with the police further down the canyon. If we hadn't blocked their path, they just might have gotten tickets. One of them almost got hit by a semi when he passed one of us on a blind turn. Too much testosterone at that age. Thor

Jesus.. we go from a convertible Enzo to a local bag lady in this thread? I thought that I had seen it all... I'm unfortunately all too familiar with who you are talking about. BTW Erik, your name sounds familar for some odd reason. Have you lived out here for a long time? C.
Zach... i think Losee just dug into the original panels on the doors; i'm pretty sure they're still carbon fiber... Thor, awesome pictures, thank you for sharing... Any more would be greatly appreciated... Losee is the man...
Thanks for the pics finally. I am not sure if I like it but as long as he does. I'd hate to be the guy behind the cutter on that one *sigh* Vasco
LOL, that's why he bought the spare set of doors... Cut the spares and if you don't like 'em, sell 'em... But he likes 'em...
Was it made in Ferrari's factory in Maranello ? How it was made (as I think , it wasn't normal custom work). Where are the rest of doors ?
The owner took delivery of a normal Enzo and then ordered a spare set of doors... Once he received the doors, he had a local shop cut the tops off the doors... When the weather's nice, he puts on the cut doors and drives around... When the weather's not so nice, he puts on the original doors and stays dry...
That's why I said "as long as he likes it". I'd do up the motor more and tubi-it before I cut that material.
why would he drive it when the weather isn't dry anyway. shouldn't that car be a nice weather driver anyway?
hey maybe Billy Idol did it........... http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27566
I think it's awesome. No more jealousy of those Trans-Am owners and their T-tops! The Enzo Targa (although yes, I know Porsche has the trademark on "Targa")
I've lived in T.O. on and off since 1988, never moving further away than Calabasas, so yeah, quite a while. >8^) ER
Nope, no windows. Most of the inside of the cut door is hollow anyway. I didn't get a picture of that part of the door. Thor
The owner is trying to put more miles on his Enzo than any other Enzo out there and I think he has done it so far. It's a beautiful thing.
Howdy Mr. Harris, Just wanted to say you have a really nice dealership. My father and I were in Salt Lake about 5 years ago for a bike race when we dropped in. Even though it’s been a while, I still remember how friendly everyone was. My dad might have talked to you, but I cant really remember, I was to busy drooling over the Cars. I’ve got lots of family in the SLC so next time im there ill definitely drop in, there’s never an excuse not to see F cars. And when I finally am ready to cash in my piggy bank on my first Ferrari, ill definitely consider SHI, it’ll probably wind up being a flip the coin type deal between ya’ll and FOH, both dealers have really treated me good. Anyways, take care and best of luck with everything, Ryan
I've completely changed my mind - this is a fantastic idea. A big "way to go!" for the owner Just as long as he has 2 sets of doors Wonder what its like to drive at 300kph though
