Check with member Ron Frohock, he makes parts for our latches.

He doesn’t make the part I need. He makes the sliders but I need the part the slider goes into. I’m looking for anyone who may have a spare or could direct me to a supplier that may have some.

You could try "Red Bay" parts in Belgium as well. Stefan dismantles a lot of Mondials.

Currently I’m working with a friend who does CNC milling work and is prototyping the part that holds the “sliders.” It will be made of high tensile aluminum and strengthened in critical areas to mitigate the poor design of the original part.

I’m going to test the prototype on my Mondial and make any necessary changes to make sure these parts are better than the originals. They will look slightly different than the original due to the design changes for improved performance but because these parts aren’t that visible it shouldn’t be a problem for originality.
