I want to repaint my car´s convertible top. Does anyone know what kind of paint to use? There are no scratches or wear off sections, It just isn´t as black as when new. I dont want to replace the canvas, just paint it. Can one do that? Thanks for input
It seems these guys are into cleaning it and I´d like to knoew about repainting it. The reason is that not only do I need to do so, but a close friend is repainting a boxster from blue to white, and top from blue to black. So in case anyone knows about a process I would really appreciate any input. Thanks again
Hi, Sorry, I thought the link to recolouring a hood was also in there. You can get a kit of materials here in the UK by a company called Renovo, it includes all you need to clean and then redye a hood. Regards, Phil.
Do a "google" search of "convertible top dye" and you will find many companies that offer dye products to restore your convertible top.
