I thought I saw a thread on here about converting a 4WD diablo to RWD. My pitiful attempts at searching didn't turn up anything. Does anyone know if this is possible? I spoke to my dealer about doing such a conversion, but they weren't very keen on the idea ...

Just remove the driveshaft. It's pretty basic.

Ok, thanks, an email is on its way.

Does the conversion reduce the Diablo's tendency to understeer?

Also, how much weight do you think the conversion saves?

If you take everything out... its about 100lbs.

Most guys have just been removing the driveshaft, comes out easy and goes back in easy.

As anyone would guess, it just feels like an SV.... it gets loose easy :)
