Mario? Emeril? Tyler? Paula? Giada? Ina? Bobby?

Which shows do you like and have you tried to recreate any recipes? I did a Mario egg recipe today and it came out great! :)

I must admit, I'm addicted to some of them. Watching "Throwdown with Bobby Flay" now. My favorite is "Chopped" the chefs have to be really creative. Of course "Diners, Drive Inns and Dives" may not be considered a cooking show, but I like it. I also like "Bar B Que Pitmasters" and watch "Private Chefs of Beverly Hills" because the female chefs are hot.

I did Ina's T-day turkey (with a slight variation) along with her exact stuffing recipe this year.

    Best I have ever made!

Good Eats gets DVRed, have over a dozen episodes I should watch or delete.

Top Chef, I've seen every single episode. Love this show.

Chopped occassionally when its on late at night.

Tyler's Ultimate, I've snagged some great recipes off the show.

Favorite is Alton Brown because I love the technical side of it.

Then it's Giada because I love the breasticular hotness side of that show.

I've tried a few of Alton's recipes - some are pretty good, but I think he misses on a few sometimes.

Diners, Drive In's & Dives is fun to watch.

The SNL parody of him was hilarious. He gets annoying sometimes.

I like Unwrapped too, although not a cooking show.

Ate at the Rendezvous BBQ in Memphis over the weekend. Can't say I care much for Memphis BBQ after that. Most of Guy's suggestions that we have tried have been flops.

I've ate at Matt's Big Breakfast before it was on his show, I've heard that due to his show, they've diminished in quality due to serving way more people. I haven't gone back since it's a little out of my way, but I hope it's still as good as it was when I first went there.

I'll have to look that up for next year!

Have you tried his waffle recipe? I did and they came out quite good for me anyways. Most of the recipes I have tried of his have been good. Just my experience though...

Giada has a huge head, physically I mean. It is out of proportion, almost alien sized.
    Didn't Emirl get the boot?

Rick Bayless is the best, "Mexico - one plate at a time"

If you can get past the fact that it seems like Shaggy from Scooby Doo is hosting the show... :)

I cook a lot from cooking shows. In the last few weeks:

I made Coq au Vin last night from Good Eats. It was good, but it takes two days to make.

I made Hot Brown from Bobby Flays Throw Down. It was very good.

I made Lemon Blossoms from Paula Deens show. Very good.

I had an idea for a cooking show when I was in radio in Mississippi. It was called "Road Kill Gourmet with Cletus". For some reason, they shot it down. :(

Mario did a braised duck in pasta the other day that looked very hearty and delicious.

Gotta try that one within the next several days.

Last I saw, Emiril (was) moved from the Food Network to the Cooking Channel.
