If red and now black, suspect it raced in challenge series. If it's a true '94 factory challenge where's the rear grill? There were only 34 tb in '94.

I do like the 19 in. wheels though.

It's not a true challenge car, he states in the ad that he just added the "Challenge" plaque.

Then it's not a '94 model year. It does have challenge pedals and challenge steering wheel. I would wonder if it was raced.

There were 14 348 SS in '94, but were all ts's not tb's. I think they also had rear grill. All 348 tb's made in '94 (32) were factory challenge's.

It looks like a '93 SS with atleast part of the challenge kit installed.

that car is quite the story....

    Ex-Mel Spillman...remember him?

I bought the car from the District Attorney when Mel got into a bit of trouble and had to move to one of those "gated government housing communities" for 5 years. ;)

Anyway, that car was origianlly red, it was raced in the 348 challenge series as #11, I forgot the driver but I have that info somewhere. I want to say he ran the car for 2 years. He is some big wig with FNA, or FCA I forgot. Anyway, Mel added all of the Series Especial stuff to the car, the rear grill, the black carbon seats, the suede wheel, etc. I added the Carbon sills and shift knob.

When I bought the car it had a set of white challenge speedlines on it, so I put those chrome rims on it instead. The chrome wheels are speedlines too, they came off of a local ex-Spurs player's car. Had the "348Challenge"emblem on it when I bought it, and I gave him the TB emblem when I sold the car. So don't know where that came from?

Bottom line, that car is probably the best running 348 on the road, it has a good Texas title and will make someone a great first Ferrari or complement their collection. However, I didnt know that the 348 market had gone up that much since April 2004 when I jast saw it, especially for a total repaint??

Any questions about it, just ask.

By the way, that car left my hands about a year and a half ago with 7500 miles on it. So he has enjoyed it since.

Sorry these were the best pics that I could find...

Unless he put them on, that's the way it looked. I took the spacers off when I traded out the wheels on the car.
