Color is interesting, I think that is a '91-'94 car with a SV decklid.

    Awesome color!!

I could be wrong, but i think this is a Monterey Edition SV.
Those aren't the right wheels for that model though.

+ 1 . Why would you ruin the limited edition SV by placing early wheels on it . The SV rims are hot and also help distinguish the car apart as well as bonnett and paint scheme on the nose

I thought the rims on that are the bigger rims from the MY99 cars....I believe MY99 Roadster wheels....

Not sure what year the car is but that is a light blue metallic Diablo SV, with the optional 18-inch Diablo Roadster wheels and blue alcantara interior. I don't know if there are more than one in that colour here in the UK. There's an SV in a brighter blue over here.

With pop up headlights, what ever it is is pre 99 so it would have 17" wheels as stock, 18" wheels did not come in till 99 MY..

(with the exception of the 1994 SE30 which had 18" rear wheels)

Quite a few of the early Diabl owners will change to the 18" wheel for ride comfort and driveability performance increase. Not to mention a lot easier to secure an 18" P-Zero tire than a 17" new one.

I like the wheels. The SV decklid ruins the car IMO, they make the car look like a hatchback.

If its the car I'm thinking of,its definitely a late sv.The kit is original, fitted from the factory.
It was just over a year ago that i was parked next to the owner and we chatted about his car.I think the wheels were discussed, but cant remember. But hey,I'm getting old and my memory aint what it used to be:)
Looked stunning in that colour in the flesh.

Actually, the 18" wheels (front and rear) came with the '98 MY (at least for street cars here in the U.S.) in order to allow for bigger brakes. -the year we also got variable valve timing. That's across the board with SVs, VT Coupes, and VT Roadsters. You're right, the '94 SE30s (which you've certainly had more than me! :) had 17" fronts/18" rear magnesium rims. I'd say that car in the picture is a '98 SV by the engine lid, wing, front nose, and lower side intakes. Those are Roadster rims. The front looks low though- Could be slightly lower ride height on a UK car. Also, the rotors are cross-drilled which came with the bigger brakes in '98 (except, again, for the SE30!)

.......................................................................I like those wheels too, but I like the SV wheels better , those scoops you have to see in person , I like the scoops , I have them on my car , everybody who sees my car comments on how they like them, but to each his own, Ram air is good .

+1 . I had an SV also . The scoops make the car imo . Those wheels i am definitly not crazy about in general . The OZ SV wheels look great on the car . Champboat do you have a 98 Yellow SV ? I think i met you before at Ciao Baby in Commack . You saw my SV ( without a wing on it then ) and mentioned you had one as well , a 98 and the wing was a must . I agreed , bought mine without the wing and eventually put one on . Much better . If i remember corectly did you own a bike shop ( custom choppers ) on Jericho at that time ? Maybe its not you , just dont know of to many Fly Yellow SV's on long island . As a matter of fact i only know of 1 other SV on the island and thats 215 mph's ..... Rosso Vik Monterey Edition .

........................................................No , I am Eric T from Freeport and i work at Al grovers High + Dry Marina , I bought the titainium SV that was on Ebay 2 years ago, it was in a accident and now I have been driving it daily for the last month and a half, I still have to finish the body work , my wing was broke so its off the car, Ben ( 215mph ) was here at my house 2 weeks ago with his SV , His SV just blows the mind its so nice. Some people love my car with the dents some people are very upset I am driving it like it is, but I don`t listen to anyone , I love driving it, its a awesome dam car that as you know handles extrodinary and is a rocket ship. I did see a orange Murci at Grovers once, it was awesome .
