Enough aluminum in a SPAD to make two T-28s. Enough power for two, also.
Great fun watching the Mars land & take off in Vancouver Harbor years ago......seemed like it took 10 minutes to lift off and another 10 to return....(Vancouver Harbor is about 2 miles across....)
You would not want to be under this airplane when it releases a full load. I saw it flatten a wooden cabin in a demonstration. The best water bomber of all of them.

Symbol on the wings is for Boeing's Phantomworks, their equivalent of L-M's Skunkworks. Phantomworks also handled the X-37B.
