    I bought these off ebay

I think they are very cool, and for $20/each, worth every penny. My wife and I infrequently use the bikes, so this is a great solution to the "bike shuffle".
I have no affiliation with the seller, just very satisfied. They are "re-sellers", and others on e-bay sell them for up to $50. The ropes are only slightly frayed, may fail in 200 years. The bike with the kid seat is heavy, but the hoist is VERY easy for my wife (98 pounds of her) to get up and down.
