    5000' is a good minimum runway length as a general guide for average operations... it can land at about half that length easily... at a light take off weight it can operate from shorter fields depending on conditions, it is a good performer...like all planes it depends on conditions and weight and the necessity to operate the plane at its' limits...in a corporate environment, insurance and corporate operating rules generally set the limits with larger margins for safety reasons generally preventing operations at max limits

    Runway length is rarely the limiting factor for a GV. More often, it is weight limits on the runway or taxiways, lack of parking space on the ramp, or wingspan clearance while taxiing.

    Well, it's not an A-380.

    5K is a good number at gross unless hot/high, as for wheel weight it's rarely an issue unless on hot asphalt as seen on some rural airports.
