If you like daily good pictures of Maranello and 328 cars and have an Instagram account, please follow Canadian Jason who lives in Austria, which is one of the world’s most beautiful countries. Every morning and every evening I look at these new amazing «PRIVATE» car pictures and videos he uploades to the 24h «story» and as separate posts... When you own a car like that yourself and dig it to the max, it is just so pleasant to follow a fellow Maranello owner who actually do us followers the favour of making our own car ownership more interesting and enjoyable. It is cool to follow each other and see the «everyday life» while using our cars. His Grigio Alloy metallic with Bordeaux interior 550 is just insanely beautiful, especially with those ALP backgrounds. There are many other cool accounts too, but this one has precition and refinement and Jason is my new «Insta-friend» living in Austria who I really like to get to know and drive like crazy together with in the Austrian alps this summer!! Terry, lets all be honest, your policy is the best policy. I was reminiscing with my wife this weekend how good life was back when we were starting out living in Washington DC at the time and being young and dumb and didn't need to worry about texts and cell phone cameras.
Well you have an electrohydraulic F1 transmission while I have only an old manual tranny... So I am not sure who of us who have the less amount of hazzle....
Eric- I do not do texts or take photos with my cell phone, either, although my wife does. Call me a troglodyte. Erik- I know how to take care of my F1 system, so she causes no hassles at all. As usual, preventive maintenance works.

I don't do any personal social media, just created the car account to share Fabio's work and to help bring Maranello greatness to the sea of gaudy instagram exotica. In fact, my wife knows I am DANGEROUSLY close to moving from my iPhone to a Light Phone... and speaking of moving... moving off the grid isn't all that far off.
Terry, especially for you and a few of the other "professors" that policy is so strong so you have one single outlet to handle all the potential questions/etc. I'd be lying if I said smart phones and instagram don't deter from my real life. As COVID weakens and life turns more to normal I'm going to have to wean back down..... I will readily admit, I have really enjoyed during COVID the funny instagram memes which help provide a pick me up that is very addictive.
Joe- If you want a phone that has all the basics and none of the unnecessary add-ons, the Samsung A series is what I use.

Jason's IG is incredible. The scenery is definitely a great match for his car, and his 328 content is equally fun to see. The wonderful 550/575 community on Instagram keeps me coming back for more.
You mean that you actually use your phone to call and speak to people.......good on you....love it. My rule is that if my kids send me anymore than two text consecutive texts I call them.
Actually, I do not use my cell phone for calls except when I am on trips, I use a land line. Call me the blacksmith of rocket scientists.

My wife and I couldn't be on farther ends of the spectrum on this even though we're both in our late 30's. She constantly writes massive paragraphs with her friends and family back and forth over txt. I'm always getting on her case that it would be much easier to just pick up the phone and call the person. Anything requiring more than a 3-way handshake I have to pick up the phone.
