I just picked this up yesterday, very nice, excellent pics and plenty of reading. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It was 10GBP, soft cover but very nicely done. I picked it up at a news stand here in town which I think was a fluke.
I've seen it at both Borders and Barnes & Noble here in the U.S., though not necessarily in every store.
Didnt count the pages but its about 3/4 inch thick. It doesnt cover 308/328 or boxer (oddly) but it covers the dino - it aint a supercar. So ignore the supercar heading and just think of it as a good read on several models including the 599. It also talks about enzo and dino, what I found interesting is Gozzi dismisses dino himself as the one responsible for the V6 dino engines. I had heard that before but its right from Gozzi in an interview.
Hi, Please let me know the s-n of the SWB showed in this book. If no s-n information mentioned, perhaps a pic to identify the Berlinetta Thanks. Germain
Hi Germain, The SWB in this magazine is a yellow one with bumperettes and is pictured in a studio with the red/black stripe TdF s/n 1385 GT and the silver GTO s/n 4153 GT. It doesn't have a roll cage but I suspect it is s/n 2111 GT. Most of the articles in this magazine were taken from earlier issues of Octane and Evo magazines.
Thanks Peter, Yes this SWB is s-n 2111GT (yellow) and this article has been published in Octane Magazine - issue #16 - October 2004. But also Automobiles Classiques #102 Novembre 1999 - and in the Tour Auto 2002 program. Germain
This is an excellent book. But if you buy either Octane or EVO on a regular basis, you will recognize some of the articles from those two magazines. My complaint is the price: where I live it is $34 CDN in every store that sells it. Given that our dollar is on par with USD, it bothers me to see the price there as $20.
they had it a the borders in time warner center in NY and the one at the whiteflint mall in Rockville, MD
