I need to tell a story. The year is, I dunno, 2003? 2004? Memory is not the first thing to go. I was at the Ferrari French Quarter Classic. We had ridden out to the No Problem Raceway. Think about that for a moment. The No Problem Raceway. I remember Franco at the Drivers meeting. Franco? Can we pass? Sure. Can we pass in a corner? Sure. The plan was there would be a family group, followed by a serious group, followed by full-on race cars. The plan didn’t last too long. It was run what you brung.

I had the shark, my Maranello. I’m queued up and Ryan jumps in. It was a tight track, and it was cold. I remember a 360GT constantly spinning. There was one long straightaway with a kink. Ryan was yelling go faster!
