It looks like some tv stations have gotten together and set up something like youtube. Instead of watching your shows, such as House and Family Guy on the tv, you can just watch them online streaming, and IT'S LEGAL!

Only thing is that I like to take my TV shows and Movies on the go. (On my iPhone, iPod, or other digital players like Zune.) And I am willing to pay a little to get them like in iTunes. I also like to download the shows rather than having it streamed through internet. I think TV studios are going the wrong way by not giving us an option to download them and play it when ever and where ever we are. I have season one of Heroes (bought through iTunes) on my iPod and it really comes in handy when I am at the airport. I was really looking to buying the season 2, but since NBC pulled their shows from iTunes, i had no choice but to use "OTHER" means to get the shows. It is a shame really, they wanted to make more money by running ads on the shows and control the medium by streaming it rather than having it available for download. But they are really forcing people to go illegal ways to get the show. NBC and other studios have to remember that their competition is not the "iTunes," but rather it is "Free" version available on the net. (aka thepiratebay.org)

I have to agree with you 100%. The TV studios have NO CLUE, what the people want. I've had to resort to the "other" means, many times because I want to be able to take my stuff on the go, just like you. I want to be able to play it on my Zen, my phone, PSP, etc. But NO ONE is getting it. Streaming might be good, if you just watch things on the computer, but the only company, that i've seen that does something like this, is Amazon's UNBOX service. It's pretty decent, but the vid. quality isn't anywhere near the stuff, you "get off the internet." If the TV studios adapted DIVX/XVID, then all our lives would be easier. People hate .wmv, .rm, mpg, etc. If movies studios even released a dvd, but also included a movie file (i.e .avi, etc) on the disc, it would make all of our lives so much easier.

The only reason NBC pulled out was because they're greedy and want Apple to charge more for it.
